
The woman behind ZASTROW & Co. - Karin Zastrow
After having completed a language study, Karin Zastrow took an MBA from INSEAD in 1983. In 1999 she was certified as a trainer in The Human Element®. In 2002 she developed Direct Leadership, her own concept for making management skills and leadership attitude come together. During the past 6 years she has trained app. 2000 persons in one or both of these concepts.
Karin Zastrow’s career covers over 20 years of experience with all aspects of education and HR development: training manager, management consultant , free-lance trainer, business college manager.
During the 6 years before the launch of ZASTROW & Co. she was Head of Human Resource Development at Chr. Hansen A/S (a Danish owned International Biotech company with 2.500 employees in more than 20 countries). As responsible for the company’s global training activities she introduced The Human Element to both leaders and employees in Denmark and abroad. Subsequently as owner of Zastrow & Co. she developed and began to market The Direct Leadership concept which has distributors across Scandinavia as well as in Japan.
Today Karin is primarily concerned with training trainers in her two concepts and with developing socially intelligent leaders and organizations.
A recent development it that Karin has become member of the faculty of IFL (Institute for Leadership) at the Stockholm School of Economics.
Besides her native language Danish, Karin Zastrow is fluent in English, German, French and Swedish.
